One finding....the solution worked perfectly in firefox 3.0.

But in internet explorer 6.0 I got the error during loading I reported in my previous post....

Thanks for you solution, But I am unable to use the code. I downloaded your demo. When I opened "test.xsp" in browser I got an error " Invalid Pointer" at this line...

Please help me....

Steve, do you know if the browserDetectionScript shown below is required for an Xpage ( or does it magically get dealt with somehow ) . I am struggling to find a good example of Oneuiv2 that works in ie6

This is great, Steve. Thanks a lot for sharing. I find it's little things like this that are missing from the xpages, things that mimic what is available in Notes and "standard" web controls like a multi select combo box!

Excellent work, and excellent timing as I have a need for that right now!!! : )

Thanks for this write-up Steve.

So I've gone and made a new Web page and set the Default template to Home page. Just to see what it would do.

Now when I call that page using { Link } the content displays as...

<$DXContent$> instead of my blog entires

I did read in your article that html is only reserved for the 'Home page'

"note that the homepage template is the only one (aside from maybe the archive template) where you can put html in and it can be called directly."

So I would think my new webpage should still display the blog because I have a webpage that uses the 'Document Template' as the original out of the box 'Home Page'.

My thinking was I could leave the 'Home page' as it is with the Blog entries, then create a new Webpage that uses a different template for my start page when the database is launched.

Cool... Camberley is now on Street View as well, although they only did the start of our road (maybe cos it's a private road). Just as well cos Mrs A wouldn't approve.

Steve, I do have a question. I want to have a 'Home' page that starts when the blog is opened, then I want to have a link that will take me to the Blog and I want to do all this with the .nsf file.

So I took and made a copy of the 'Home Page' found within the 'Page Templates'. I then renamed the copy to "Blog" and saved it.

Next I changed the 'Home Page to look like what I wanted.

Now my question is this, How do I Call the new page I made from my top menu or is this not possible and I'm going about it all wrong?

@ Larry - Its a good idea. Makes me realise how important openntf needs its software updated so stuff like this can be very visible for other developers to start work on.
