Notes Sucks Again

A common theme - it raises its head again. My thoughts:
1) I will always dislike a rival football team. They could become the best and most entertaining team in the world - I will always dislike them. Yes Jon - that includes Coventry City.
My point - sometimes the product doesn't matter if I am using the competitors solution. It will always suck.
2) My career is not developing as well/quickly as I would like. I need to do something to ignite it.
My point - sometimes people will do things to draw attention - we have seen several of these of late (Mr Lyons for one) - heres another (the Guardian writer)
Of course all rubbish/FUD has to be defended. However it should be done in a way that does not stoop to the level of others. The microsoft way of bigging up their products is to attack others (stinks of insecurity).
We could have an Exchange Sucks website - but that would be pointless. Maybe instead a NotesTheFacts.com etc (although we do already have Alan Lepofsky's site) and spread that domain around and publish real information, real answers to peoples issues with the product (which mostly come from misinformation or bad coding by a developer working with Lotus Notes - you did know its closer to an operating system than an application right?).
I have read the Lotus Notes Sucks website (the design and workings of that site sucks and breaches all UI guidelines by the way - I know cheap shot). I dont mind it all - it does highlight some useful end user issues - if IBM didnt get to know them, then they wouldn't know to fix them. IBM even offer to listen and to take feedback - would anyone else do the same?
Oh and my final point - the Guardian writer uses Notes on a Mac - well lucky guy - Microsoft doesn't give two hoots about the Mac (the technology choice for his profession) - IBM are spending a fortune on making sure Notes 7 works just great on it!
- as pointed out to me, the Mac does have MS Office - so you can call me an industry analyst now for using half information to form an opinion!
