It has been announced now so I can say it. Domino 8 Server will support JSON for ?ReadViewEntries, ?ReadDesign and ?ReadEntries. This is done by adding "&OutputFormat=JSON" to the URL. Maybe I shouldn't mention, but is subject to change and is definitely not supported but this is also available in 7.0.2. But watch out for minor changes between that and the output in 8. I think this is great news - gives us a few extra things in our tool box for AJAX development.
